After having tested several vacuum leaf blowers of major brands, we wanted in this test to put a blower of the little known brand Einhell on the test bench. The model tested here is the GC-EL 2500E which offers a power supply but above all has a floor price of around 40$. Can a vacuum leaf blower at this price be efficient in the long term? That’s what we wanted to know, so we ordered it and tested it. Here are our impressions of this blower.
The Einhell GC-EL 2500 E is specially designed for cleaning outdoor areas. With a beautiful power, the device is efficient and practical. The prototype sucks up the debris, and blows on the dead leaves to take them off in no time at all. Its medium size and slender appearance optimise the maintenance of green spaces, whatever the weather conditions. Einhell, known for its expertise in maintenance equipment, has developed a practical-looking vacuum leaf blower. The appearance of the blower, as well as its functions, have been designed to simplify its handling.
This device relies on its portable and lightweight design to facilitate the de-cluttering of the areas to be treated. The specimen combines two modes, activated by a strategically placed key to remain within the user’s fingertips. Switching from one function to another is simple and can be done in a matter of seconds. If it does not incorporate a shredding mode, this vacuum leaf blower is also designed to be low-maintenance. Accompanied by a 40l pick-up bag, the Einhell GC-EL 2500 E features a small handle at its end. The position of this handle makes it easier to carry the device, which naturally follows the movements of the arm at the end of which it swings.
An adjustable strap joins the list of accessories, and optimizes user comfort. Einhell uses medium power to collect and vacuum up dead leaves and other debris from your garden. Vegetable particles of all sizes are easily accumulated, collected without any particular effort. The average capacity of the collection bag makes it an ideal vacuum leaf blower for small green spaces and other medium-sized gardens. The light weight of the vacuum leaf blower-blower confirms its practicality, and reminds us that its simplistic design also contributes to its improved manoeuvrability.

The Einhell GC-EL 2500 E is a blower-vacuum that will delight regular users. The model is aimed at both professionals and occasional gardeners who wish to have an efficient device to quickly clean their green spaces. The specific features of the vacuum leaf blower-blower have already given us a glimpse of its appreciable power. During our leaf blower test, this capability was more than satisfactory. Despite a power output of 2500 Watts and a suction speed of 650m²/h, the Einhell GC-EL 2500 E has nothing to envy to more powerful models. The air flow is neither too low nor too high and is regular enough to facilitate the accumulation of the debris to be picked up. Used on a small area, the vacuum-blower succeeds in piling up the green waste in a few minutes.
The blower function is intended to complement the suction function and makes the user’s job much easier. The speed of the blower is perfectly suited for occasional use, and has met our expectations for the treatment of a medium-sized garden. Switching between the two modes is simple, but is not necessarily obvious when working with one hand. Although the positioning of the button seems to be designed for ease of handling, it may not be easy to reach when you don’t have both hands on the device. Fortunately, the shoulder strap can help with this handling, while providing some stability to the vacuum leaf blower. The combination between this accessory and the handle is, in fact, one of the main strong points of the tool, which is very easy to use. The change of direction does not require any special handling and is facilitated by the lightness of the device, which allows the user to redirect the device with a single arm movement.
The Einhell GC-EL 2500 E test was a must for us when it came to clearing out the clutter in a medium-sized garden. The need to plug it in before use has saved us from autonomy problems, but has also imposed a maximum distance not to be exceeded which will be directly related to the size of your extension cable. This model corresponds very well to what you would expect from a vacuum leaf blower-blower of its kind. The continuous power supply saved us from having to reload the battery in a hurry, and therefore saved us a lot of time.
The lightness of the vacuum leaf blower, as well as the handle and the strap, greatly helped to achieve a quick clean-up. The blower tube displays simple, narrow lines designed to limit leaf scatter. During our testing of the Einhell 2500E vacuum leaf blower we found that it can be helpful to go over the same area once or twice to ensure that the debris is collected properly. However, this feature is not disabling and does not reduce the efficiency of the device. The capacity of the bag, I mean, is small. While it can remove dead leaves from a garden in a single pass, it becomes less relevant as the area to be treated increases. The absence of a shredder confirms this little miss: it is essential to empty the bag regularly if the collection is done in a large garden.
Internet users who have been able to test the Einhell GC-EL 2500 E recognize the stability of the device as its main asset. The impressive size of the suction tube is also a strong point that contributes to the performance of the unit. The two integrated functions are effective, but many regret the absence of a shredder which could have made it much more interesting, if you are looking for such a function then look no further than the Black & Decker GW3030. Einhell’s GC-EL 2500 E assumes this difference and justifies it with a very attractive price.
The Einhell GC-EL 2500 E uses a continuous power supply and therefore does not incorporate a battery. If the choice is made to clean the lowest surfaces, it quickly becomes problematic when the vacuum leaf blower-blower has to be used in large areas. The stability of the air flow, however, helps to forget this small inconvenience, and simplifies the gardener’s work. Although several passes may be necessary to rid your garden of all its green debris, einhell vacuum leaf blower reviews are excellent and everyone thinks they’ve got a good deal when they find a cheap AND efficient vacuum leaf blower.
The ease of use of this blower-vac extends to its maintenance. Indeed, the unit requires little care and can be cleaned in no time at all, which adds the most to our opinion on the 2500E vacuum leaf blower-blower. This means that only the bag has to be emptied to keep the machine in good condition. The slight traces of moisture that may be generated when cleaning hardened areas do not affect the proper functioning of the vacuum leaf blower and are quickly dried by the blower. Finally, the average accuracy of the Einhell GC-EL 2500 E makes it mandatory to wear protective gear. The features are more than sufficient for the average user, who will find this a high quality, practical and uncomplicated device.
